Life as a Vacation!

Welcome to November! I just had the pleasure of spending a long weekend in Mexico. What fun it was to explore a new area, try new things and relax. So today I was thinking that really our life is like a working vacation. We won't be here forever. What if we decided to live each day with a little more vacation attitude? Do you notice how when you are on vacation you are fascinated by the same things you walk by everyday. My husband and I stopped to stare at a shiny black lizard and watched a leaf bug. We weren't the only ones doing this! Yet, at home we walk by interesting creatures all the time without a single glance. On vacation a wrong turn means a chance to explore new areas, at home it is an annoyance.
When you start looking at your life with “vacation eyes” it will take on a new vibrancy. You will have more energy as you begin to notice LIFE! So, wise women that is the discussion topic for our call on Monday. Here are some questions for you to think about...

1.What do you do on vacation that you could practice at home?
2.How is your attitude different on vacation?
3.What can you do to make this life an amazing journey?
4.List at least 5 activities you can do to make your everyday life feel like a vacation?
5.How will you look at things differently?
6.How will you talk differently about your life as you look at it through “vacation eyes”?

Join me on the "2nd Act Revolution" call Monday, November,6 at noon mtn. time. Invite your women friends and let's have a great discussion!

Give Yourself the Gift of 10

How long since you have had 10 minutes or more of quiet time? Taking time for the soul everyday, is the perfect medicine for the stress and busyness of our lives. When we give attention to the spirit it produces energy rather then consuming it. So what is soul time? It can be as simple as sitting quietly for 5-10 minutes listening to your breathing. It might be journaling your thoughts or praying.

This will be the topic for the "2nd Act Revolution" Call October 2nd. Bring your wisdom and questions to the call as we discuss taking time for the spirit.

1. What do you do for soul time?
2. What are the benefits that you have experienced?
3. What keeps you from doing it more often?
4. How do you set yourself up for success so you will take time out for quiet?
5. What time of day works best for you to have 10 minutes of quiet?

When is Enough, Good Enough?

As you crawl into bed at night do you ever have the feeling that you have not accomplished enough today? Even though you were busy every minute it just doesn't feel good enough. The items you crossed off your “to-do” list are still dwarfed by the items that are still left! Even worse by the end of the day you have more things to add to the list. What “to-do”? HA! This will be the topic of our “2nd Act Revolution” call on Monday, September 11. Here are some questions to get you thinking...

1.What would be enough?
2.Have you ever had a day that felt like you accomplished enough? What had you done?
3.What if you threw out your “to-do's”? What are you afraid would happen?
4.What if every day, whatever you did was enough? How would that change your life?
5.How do you give yourself credit for what you do?
6.What does this quote mean for you? ”We are human beings not human doings.”

I am glad to announce our next call after a wonderful summer break! Join us on the “2nd Act Revolution” call Monday, September 11 at noon Mtn. Time, 2:00 EST. Invite your women friends and let's learn from each other's wisdom! If they wish to receive personal invitations have them email me at equotes@LeannaFredrich.com.

Keep Thinking About Your Success!

This month we will be talking about success, our success. Research shows that successful people tend to focus on their past successes. People who haven't accomplished much are people who tend to focus on past failures. So, one of the steps to being successful is to focus on your successes! It is time to give yourself credit for all you do. Here are some of the questions we will be discussing:

1. Do you tend to focus on past successes or past failures?
2. List your greatest accomplishments so far.
3. What are some successes you've had last week?
4. What are your successes for today?
5. What is your definition for success? " In order to be successful I must ....."

Feel free to invite other women to join us! If they wish to be on the"2nd Act Revolution" mailing list have them email me at coach@LeannaFredrich.

Have a success filled June!

Stand Out! Use your Strengths to Shine!

May's call is about finding our strengths! A strength, as we will be defining it is a natural ability. Something that we can do with ease and it gives us energy. I know many of us are skilled at things but they drain us. If using this skill drains us then it is not a strength! An example of some strengths are, empathy, discipline, focus, harmony, learner.

1. What are your top 5 or 6 strengths?
2. What are some things that come so easily to you that you think anyone could do it?
3. In what areas of your life are you using these strengths?
4. How could you maximize the strengths in your life?
5. How can you use a strength to minimize a weakness?

Feel free to invite other women to join us! If they wish to be on the"2nd Act Revolution" mailing list have them email me at coach@LeannaFredrich.com.

Is Fear Stopping You?

This month's topic is fear. Fear, is often a frequent visitor to the one who is choosing to create an extraordinary life. At some point we all have to learn how to dance rather then fight with fear. We have to learn how to take fear with us rather then letting it freeze us.

Here are some questions to consider before the call...

1. How has fear stopped you from designing an extraordinary life?
2. What are you most afraid of?
3. How have you faced fear in the past?
4. What steps have you taken in the past when you faced the fear and did it anyway?
5. What would you be doing now if you were not afraid?
6. What are some steps you can take this week to face your fear?

Feel free to invite other women to join us! If they wish to be on the"2nd Act Revolution" mailing list have them sign up at www.leannafredrich.com.
